Driving Green Test

Skive worked with Ogilvy to recreate client BP’s actual Millbrook Green Driving Test to educate users about green driving habits. We produced a driving simulator that could be played both online and offline so users could hone their driving efficiency skills.

A real-time physics engine was developed to calculate the continuous states of velocity, acceleration, aerodynamic drag, rolling resistances, internal engine friction and track position from inputs including acceleration, gear selection and track geometry.

The offline units have been used at a number of international motor shows including Lisbon, Barcelona and Madrid.
