Skive worked with Leagus Delaney to design and build the new football site for Reebok, launched to exploit the sports brand's sensational recruitment of icons Thierry Henry, Andrei Shevchenko as figureheads.
Skive contributed to the overall strategy and core content of the project, which is meant to demonstrate that Reebok is about 'more than just the 90 minutes' and is a performance and lifestyle brand. It was designed to follow the offline visual language — bold, dynamic and adaptive, as well as uncompromising and confrontational — reflecting the attitude of the sport.
The site features lots of rich media integration in the form of video interviews, press releases and interactive quizzes with its footballing stars, as well as product showcases and a visually exciting football game called 'Goal Rush'. It also features a great selection of music tracks from up and coming artists.
The project was built in Flash 8 so as to be dynamically updateable in 8 languages across 12 European territories. It was rolled out in 4 'phases' (Launch, Performance, Lifestyle and Heroes), allowing the introduction of new players as they were announced and the ability to add fresh content to the site over the course of 6 months.
