Challenge

Skive worked with AMV on the digital ads of its hugely successful integrated campaign asking the British Public to come up with and then vote upon a new flavour for Britain’s biggest selling crisp brand.

Execution

The online media was split into two phases.

The first featured long term Walkers brand ambassador Gary Lineker, who informed users of the promotion and encouraged participation.

The second encouraged users to vote upon the six chosen finalists.

A suite of standard and rich media formats was developed for both phases.

Results

Walkers generated over 1.2 million flavour suggestions, followed by 1 million votes, with Builder’s Breakfast the winning flavour and the winner receiving £50,000 and 1% of future sales.
